Built in 1922, the Emerson House is located in Denver’s Historic Swallow Hill neighborhood on Capital Hill. This charming venue is the headquarters for the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. The building has been refurbished and new landscaping installed. There is also a small kitchenette and spacious entry hall, in addition to meeting rooms.
If you are looking for a quaint place to host small meetings, training functions, seminars, short courses, conferences, social occasions or family gatherings, the Emerson House is the perfect place!
This 34’x34′ room an seat 40-50 people in a classroom configuration and up to 70 people in an auditorium configuration. There is a small stage area equipped with a projection screen, and use of a microphone, an Epson Powerlite 76C Mulimedia Projector, copy machine,a dry-erase board and WiFi are also available.
The patio area is a pleasant place to meet, weather permitting.
This room is 16’x19′ and seats 20 people in a conference configuration.
CFGC Headquarters Parking Information
Parking on Emerson Street in front of the Headquarters Building is strictly limited to two hours, when allowed. If you move your vehicle to comply with the two-hour rule, you must move the car off the current block. Note the parking restrictions on the first Wednesdays on each side of the street. There are some parking spaces available at the Wendy’s Restaurant across the street; however, you must have a copy of a current dated pass inside your vehicle otherwise your car will be towed.
