​Emerson House

Built in 1922, the Emerson House is located in Denver’s Historic Swallow Hill neighborhood on Capital Hill. This charming venue is the headquarters for the Colorado Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. The building has been refurbished and new landscaping installed. There is a small kitchenette and spacious entry hall, in addition to meeting rooms.

Building Features
Main Auditorium
This 34′ x 34′ room seats up to 50 people in a classroom configuration and up to 70 people in an auditorium configuration. There is a small stage area in the auditorium. The facility has a projector and screen, microphone, Printer/Copier, dry-erase board, and WiFi available.
Patio
The patio area is a pleasant place to meet, weather permitting.
Board Conference Room
This room is 16’x19′ and seats 20 people in a conference or 12 in a U-shape configuration.
HQ Parking Information
Limited Parking behind Emerson House is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking on Emerson Street in front of the Headquarters Building is strictly limited to two hours by the city. Moving your vehicle to comply with the two-hour rule requires moving the car off the current block.
Note: There are parking restrictions on the first Wednesday, on each side of the street. Parking is also available at the Wendy’s Restaurant across the street; however, you must have a copy of a current-dated pass inside your vehicle. Otherwise, your car will be towed. You can get a pass by contacting our Emerson House Trustees before your event or meeting.
